I lead the CAPIBARA mission, managing project planning, monitoring progress, and our relationship with other entities. My role focuses on coordinating the team and ensuring effective collaboration.
My research in Cosmology explores the Universe’s origin, evolution, and fate, with a focus on using GRBs (gamma-ray bursts) as standard candles to measure distances to galaxies. Previous work include using Cepheids (2023) and Ia Supernovae (2024) as distance indicators to compute the Hubble constant and other cosmological parameters.
I’ve demonstrated research excellence through the Youth and Science program by Fundació Catalunya La Pedrera, a research stay at ICE-CSIC on Supernovae Cosmology, and an internship at DLR, where I analyzed thermal images.
Committed to outreach, I participated in the CosmoCaixa Explainers program, tutor STEM subjects weekly, and mentor aspiring STEM students at my school. I have also applied my coding skills to bridge the gap between science and school, developing open-source projects like Genetics10 or TdM, supporting multiple languages for schools worldwide.
Driven by a passion for science, technology, and community, I aim to inspire others through teaching, research, and innovative projects.
